Uncharted 2 and Borderlands Game Reviews for PS3

Well, its been a while…but hey, Im still on!

Alright, today, we’re gonna take a miniature walk through the worlds of Uncharted 2 and Borderlands.  Now, before I do anything, I would like to state that Borderlands will somewhat remind all of you about Fallout 3, the post-apacolyptic game that takes place in Washington, D.C.

Alright, lets get started up on Uncharted 2;

Uncharted 2 is truly a remarkable game. Once I put it in my PS3, I knew that Id chosen the right game. This game is mostly for action-packed game lovers. Even though the games not the highest rated for the best shooter, you wont regret buying this action-filled game. SPOILER ALERT: DONT READ THIS PART IF YOU LIKE THE BEGINNING OF A GAME AS A SURPRISE!  In the beginning of the game, the main character, Nathan Drake, is hanging onto a train that is off-track, up on snowy mountains. The train is half-way hanging off of the side of a mountain, and half-way on top of it. Nate climbs up and through the train, with many triumphs. As soon as you reach the top of the suspended train cart, the train starts to slide off the cliff. Im not gonna hint at anything else, but just let me say that this is one intense game.  Priced around 60 bucks(55 if used), this is definitely a game worth buying.

Now, onto Borderlands:

Seemingly similar to Fallout 3, your character takes place on a planet called Pandora, which is pretty much a place for people willing to get shot.  The place is also a wasteland.  Your character(you can choose from either Mordecai, Roland, Lilith, or Brick) takes on the role of a mercenary, off to find what seems to be an amazing place called the Vault(Hmm…).  In the Vault, theres said to be millions of dollars, fame, and women(Im there).  So, after riding a bus to Fyrestone, the first place that youll encounter, you start your journey.  Quite a good RPG, but not the best shooter or action game.  Also seems to mimic Fallout 3 a lot.  Id be on the fence for this one, but overall, it still meets probably my average standards.

Well, thats it for game interviews today!  Come to the site next time.

Happy game playing,

~Skill
